We list sites based on the information they provide us, and we take them at face value. Ad Upgrades are optional features that can be added to the base price of your chosen ad plan. Ad Upgrades cannot be purchased separately, they must be added to an existing ad plan in our Shopping Guide.

Red Ribbon Placement
Limited to 14 spaces
Similar to the front display window of your local boutique, Red Ribbon Placements are displayed as the splash page to our 2008 Spring/Summer Shopping Guide. They are available on a first-come, first served basis.
All Red Ribbon Selections will receive 1 Additional product image to be shown on this page.
(applicable according to ad specifications)
All Red Ribbon participants will also be listed in their product category of choice.
For example: If a shop named Jane's Jewelry purchases a Platinum Base Ad as well as a Red Ribbon upgrade, Jane's Jewelry will be presented on the Red Ribbon Placement page, as well as in the Jewelry category.

Indie Collective Shopping Directory Ad Specials
For a limited time, Banner Plans and Sponsored Listings in the Shopping Directory are available at a discounted rate when purchased with an ad in our 2008 Spring/Summer Shopping Guide.
i. Sponsored Listing
Sponsored Listings guarantee you will be listed at the start of your category in a highlighted area of the page, which catches the eye of visitors and makes your Sponsored Listing more visible.
ii. Banner Plan
Banner Advertisements are featured on the front page of the Indie Collective Directory and also appear on every subsequent page.

Ads
Ad spaces are available to all independent designers. There is space for everyone!
All decisions regarding website layout and graphics are at the discretion of the Indie Collective.
To keep the flow of the guide consistant with our theme, Indie Collective reserves the right to:
- Allow any given shopping category to flow across multiple pages.
- Enhance product images by cropping or sharpening.
- Edit ad text for grammatical errors, spelling errors or length of text provided (according to ad specs)
- Alter or improve the appearance, features and functionality of the Shopping Guide from that of the original throughout the entire run of the Shopping Guide.
If we feel your ad will make a better fit in a category other than the one you selected upon signup, we reserve the right to re-categorize your shop accordingly.
Ads will rotate position randomly within the Shopping Guide.

Editorial Featurettes
Editorial Featurettes purchased as optional upgrades will be presented randomly in our blog, IC Style. Dates are randomly assigned to all participants who have purchased an Editorial Featurette. Don't worry, we will get to you!

Indie Collective Shopping Directory Ad Specials
Indie Collective Shopping Directory Ad Specials that are purchased as optional upgrades cannot be applied to Banner Plans or Sponsored Listings that are already running in the Indie Collective Shopping Directory.
All Ad Specials purchased will run in the Indie Collective Shopping Directory as time & space allow. If we are already full for Banner Plans or Sponsored Listings, we will inform you of the start date of your ad via email.
