I blog about random events that occur in my daily life including my achievements & struggles as a jewelry designer & polymer clay artist with an Etsy shop. Thanks for the visit!
~*About me*~
My background includes four years at Fashion Industries High school where I graduated with a degree in Fashion Design. I went on to attend The Fashion Institute of Technology where I studied Fashion Design and Patternmaking.
I also worked as a hand detailer for a lovely, family owned, wedding gown business named Wearkstatt, for six years. There, I had the opportunity to work with gorgeous fabrics, embroidery and beads. As a result I developed my eye for detail and quality handwork. It was a wonderful place to work.
I've been crafty for as long as I can remember! I have always had a love and appreciation for things made by hand. Handmade items have energy and they have stories to tell. When I found Etsy, I thought to myself "finally!!" ~ I've been waiting for a place like this my whole life! I always dreamed of having a small business and working for myself and I'm delighted that Etsy gives myself and others like me, the opportunity to do so.
My inspiration comes from the simple joy that I feel when creating, inventing, learning and figuring things out. I am full of ideas! I love intricacy, color and details. In my shop, you will likely find things that I have made in the past as well as recent projects.
I currently live in Brooklyn, New York (where I was born and raised) with my boyfriend (www.erictheredd.com/) and my two sweet cats.
